The Vitality of the Spirit – A Sermon Series by Art Azurdia (mp3) #NoStrangeFire

As the discussion on the Strange Fire conference and its debates continue, here’s a lecture/sermon series I want to listen to that sets forth a positive understanding of the Spirit’s ministry.

Again, I haven’t listened to it so I don’t know if I’d agree with all of it. But I’ve often been edified and found Azurdia’s assertions reliable according to rigorous biblical thinking and discernment.

This is from spiritempoweredpreaching.com:

The Vitality Of The Spirit
The Holy Spirit. Is He an actual person of equal status with God the Father and God the Son, or merely a literary personification of divine power? May Christians seek the Spirit’s empowerment for ministry, or was this a phenomenon unique to the epoch of the early Christians? Beginning with the teachings of Jesus, and then moving to the apostolic contributions, this series embarks on a fuller and richer understanding “the Cinderella of the Trinity.”
