TGC LA Regional Chapter Meeting on 3/22/11

So we’re having our first meeting of the TGC LA Regional Chapter (primarily for pastors and ministry leaders though it’s open to all). It’s on March 22, 2011 from 10:00am-12:20pm at 1711 North Avon Street, Burbank, 91505. Here’s the description of the TGC LA Regional Chapter on our web page:

The Los Angeles regional chapter of The Gospel Coalition seeks to form a community of friendship and partnership to encourage one another, hold each other accountable, pray together, and share ideas on how we can advance the gospel… We want to promote gospel-centered ministry for the next generation in the greater Los Angeles region.

So the first step in building these friendships is getting to meet others, learn from each other, and pray together. We’d love for people to carve out time for lunch after.

Please RSVP on facebook or email so we have an idea of how many snacks and drinks to provide. Even if you didn’t RSVP, come by anyway and pray with us.

Here’s the schedule as currently planned (subject to revision):

10:00 — Welcome and opening in prayer (PJ Tibayan from CrossView Church in LA)
10:10 — Sing to the Lord and to one another
10:20 — Introduction of the speaker
10:25 — Word from the Lord (Ron Boomsma from Sovereign Grace Church of Pasadena)
10:45 — Break (coffee & snacks)
11:00 — Q&A session (regarding message)
11:15 — Sharing and getting to know others lives and ministries
11:45– Prayer for each other & the gospel ministry in our region
12:15 — Closing Song

Hello, I just stumbled upon the notice for a meeting this coming Tuesday in Burbank. This address is just blocks from my home so I was wondering whose house it is. Can you tell me how many people you expect?

    Grace & Joy,

I think there will be around 30 or so, but I’m not sure. It’s at a church building, but I’m not sure what the name is since I’ve not been there yet.
