 To be clear on what the serious reservations may be due to a comment below: 9Marks has a good and discerning review of Warren’s two major books, The Purpose-Driven Church and The Purpose-Driven Life.

    You are saying nothing new. We are aware of what 9Marks has written about it. The fact is Dever’s actions in even keeping association with this false prophet are confusing conflicting. This man is beyond apostate…he is a FALSE TEACHER period. He is not a “new believer”, th is man stands in front of the sheep spouting garbage and in front of the unsaved proclaiming what border’s on blasphemy. There is no biblical example of Christ or the Apostles socializing with gnostics and false teachers after it was clear that is what they were.
